once upon a time, there was this boy and there was this girl. they were out with their lovely friend. sitting in the backseat of a car, this boy told this girl about a dream he had. in this dream, the boy was talking to the girl and all of a sudden, the girl and the boy were talking, and all of a sudden the girl was wearing a wedding dress and getting married. and the boy realized he was missing out on something. and he cried. the boy told this girl about the dream.
in an ideal world, the girl would've told the boy that that was a load of bullcrap and slapped him across the face. she would've forseen the loss of something precious, she would've forseen his eventual beating down of her. she'd've forseen the way he'd build her up and break her down and leave her crying beside her bed on a sunny sunday. she would've forsaken love to save a friendship.
but no. this girl melted right in the backseat of that chevy. the two of them fell in love, but eventually she fell behind and he fell out of love.
and the world, the family, thinks she's the problem.
she's not. digging her out won't solve the problem.
you've got to face the problem and move slowly.
she doesn't know why it's over.
she's just a shell right now.
...and they lived happily ever after.
