I finally went to see March of the Penguins with Adam tonight. We've been meaning to catch it since it first came out, but our schedules have prevented us from the adorable arctic.

Even though the documentary was heart-warming, it was somewhat depressing. If someone calculated the penguin infantf atality, I seriously think a baby penguin died in 15 minute intervals while they were filming. Morgan Freeman narrates the film and he's like:

"After long days of darkness the sun begin to emerge on the chilly horizon . . . .CUTE BABY PENGUIN DIES . . . . There is now hope for the families . . . . BUT WAIT, CUTE BABY PENGUIN DIES . . . . the long journey is finally over . . . . ONCE ANOTHER CUTE BABY PENGUIN IS EATEN BY A GIANT PREDATOR OR FREEZES TO DEATH OR IS CONSUMED BY A NATURAL DISASTER OR IS SWALLOWED BY AN UNSUSPECTINGHOLE IN THE EARTH . . . The end"

Geez. I can only watch so much fluff being devoured. It just sort of ruins the whole uplifting spirit. In other news, recruitment is going well so far. It's super easy ( in comparison to what's called "work week" and goes on in the sorority house for affiliated members), but I feel like a retard. While clad in my hot pink sorority "staff" shirt today, I received rude glances from individuals who obviously thought my brain cells were so deficient that I wouldn't notice their flaming glares of disapproval.  Ugh. Don't discriminate against the neon colors.

Oh, and does anyone still have a friendster? I am definitely deleting mine tomorrow seeing how I just got a message that says ". Just wanted to make some friends in
this area so I dont feel weird when I go cow
tipping by my self...lol...hope we can hang out and
just have a blast."

RIGHT. BECAUSE COW TIPPING IS MY IDEA OF FOREPLAY. *sigh* Forget it.
