Augustine just woke up with a broken heart
Have you ever had a spiritual experience where God just, you know, RIPS the veil from your face and shows you something in your life or your heart that you never really saw before? Or brings up some past buried issue from your past and stands it right in front of you? And you're like, ok, so, how do I deal? What am I supposed to do with this?
Ever have, like, 10 of these at once?
Usually when I’m in the middle of crossing a bridge I can’t tell until I’ve crossed. I’m crossing. I know because I’m looking over the edge, glued to the sides in terror.
It was an interesting trip, anyway. My grandma is surprisingly lucid, it went up to 104 degrees, I start classes this Monday and I am very sad that summer is so suddenly over.
I just wish I could take a nice, long vacation away from myself. Whomever she is.
