The Oscar's were horrible. (except that Avatar did not win Best Picture!) They also made me want to see this animated Irish movie called the Secret of Kells which I previously knew nothing about.

This weekend was blissfully uneventful. We hung out with my mom on Friday night. I ate my very first Taco bell shrimp taco and was strangely amused that there was an actual Mexican working the drive-thru. Almost every Friday we are both asleep by 12. Odd because we usually stay up until 2 Mon-Fri when Ryan gets up by 8:30. Saturday, we got carryout breakfast ( eggs in a Styrofoam container is fun fun fun), I got my hairz did, went to dinner, and was drunk and playing Mario Kart by 10:30pm. I wish there was a headset for Nintendo wifi. We had a feud going with these two California jackasses and I would have loved to creatively swear at them over the interwebs. Sunday, we did nothing largely due to the fact that we stayed up until 5 in the morning. We couch flopped and both accidentally fell asleep watching an I love the 90's marathon on VH1 only to awaken many hours later to the end of Grease. We watched the Oscars and then I fell asleep watching Sorority Row. It was totally what I expected, very Scream-like +titties and xtra blood. I did like the new Last House on the Left though. It was an excellent update. It kept all of the gruesomeness of the original and cut out its flower power strangeness, almost making it harder to watch the rape scene because there was no hokey factor.

This week we are going to see Alice in Wonderland on Wednesday night and Saturday go out for fancy breakfast and to the zoo with one of Ryan's work pals. Next Wednesday is St. Paddy's day and our 4 year wedding anniversary!! I WANT TO GO OUT THIS YEAR...I am fairly sure that Rye is taking the day off and we are going to the Gaelic League at like noon but I might change my mind and switch bars..dunno. Then 27th is Tegan and Sara!

I want to read I slept with Joey Ramone...I wish the library would send it to me already...
