So I've effectively avoided any and all "Christmas cheer" on campus, and to tell the truth, I do not think I missed much. The people in town have slipped from their throne of crazed euphoria to a more sullen, depressing state. I believe it has something to do with high credit card bills or "debts", whatever all those are. Why do people owe so much ( Read more... )

And you're in denial. As if I wanted anything in the first place. Besides, if I really desired something, I would've gotten it myself instead of waiting for other people to get it for me.

It's just funny to me how people can still believe in something as ridiculous as a fat old man leaving gifts for people under a tree on a specific day of the year.
