So I've effectively avoided any and all "Christmas cheer" on campus, and to tell the truth, I do not think I missed much. The people in town have slipped from their throne of crazed euphoria to a more sullen, depressing state. I believe it has something to do with high credit card bills or "debts", whatever all those are. Why do people owe so much ( Read more... )

My family? I only have three family, and one I know I have but cannot find.

And no. I saw none of them this Christmas. I spent it studying and preparing myself for the upcoming classes. I like to be ahead.

...It's been blurred. If you would care for a history lesson, I would tell you how it's lost it's meaning. But none the less, it's still one of my favorite times of the year.

Aha. I think I know what you mean. I hear it has religious undertones... or overtones? Depends on perspective, I suppose. Perhaps I'll learn about it in my religion class. I wish I understood why everyone was so nauseatingly joyous. I was just bored and cold.
