[ History ] :
A lot of Noel’s past is shrouded in mystery. She doesn’t remember anything before 5 years ago when she was found in the burning fields of Ikaruga and adopted by the Vermillion family. Years later she joined the Novus Orbis Librarium (the Library or NOL for short), an organization that made it its duty to govern the world. Thanks to her exceptional combat skills and use of the Nox Nyctores "Arcus Diabolus Bolverk" revolver, she quickly made her way up to the rank of lieutenant.
The reason Noel doesn’t remember any of her past is because she has amnesia. The truth is she’s actually one of many replicas made of a girl named Saya. Because of that, Noel shares some of the same memories as Saya, but none of them are detailed enough for Noel to make sense of them. She also has the same voice as Saya and v-13 (another one of the replicas) and shares some of the same physical features to them as well.

[ Personality ] : At first Noel appears to be a cool-headed and reserved person but that’s just the personality she tries and fails to uphold. In actuality, Noel is an extremely shy and lonely girl. She finds it hard to interact with other people (she’s a bit socially awkward if you will) and has a hard time making friends. When talking she has the tendency to stutter and often pause between phrases, which is probably due to her low self esteem. Speaking of low self esteem, Noel has a huge inferiority complex with her bosom. It doesn’t help that she was mistaken for a boy because of her small chest by Bang and was cruelly given the nick-name “lacking lady”. So if anyone points out the small size of her breasts, she will get extremely defensive about it.
Another quirk about Noel that a lot of people won’t know about her right of the bat is that she has a secret affinity for small, cute animals. If you have a cute animal she’ll pretty much do anything you want for a chance to pet it. For example: she’ll be your personal dress-up doll in exchange for cuddling your pet panda.
Noel also has the bad habit of getting lost in her own thoughts quite often, which causes her to not pay attention to where she’s going and be a bit of a klutz, making her appear to be quite the airhead at times.
All in all, Noel really is a sweet person at heart. This may not seem that important to note, but it when you consider that once most of the other characters got their Nox Nyctores weapons were filled with dark desires to kill and fight. Noel feels none of that when using her weapon and merely feels a strong drive to win. After defeating Bang in battle he comments on how while she was fighting he sensed no murderous intent from her at all. So out of all of the characters, Noel seems to be the one most genuinely good at heart.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] : Being in the military and coming from a fighting game Noel is a very strong fighter. She’s not very good when it comes to long range attacks, but when it comes to hand to hand combat and close rang fighting she’s a force to be reckoned with.
Her weapon, Bolverk, can be summoned by her at any time and usually takes the form of two very large guns that fire energy bullets.

[ Other Important Facts ] : Her hobbies include shopping for things over the internet (so she doesn’t have to interact with people) and writing poetry that she refuses to show to anyone.
And it’s rumored that apparently her cooking has the power to make a grown man keel over. So yeah, her cooking is pretty horrible.
