It had been an enjoyable and not to mention study free weekend (which is also why I'm screwed for my macro tute tom).
Friday evening, we went down to Bondi Beach to eat at Hurricane's Grill with old family friends. Though a full rack of ribs were nearly an arms length, can't help but say that - it was quite expensive! It's been a while since I've gone to Bondi Beach, last time was probably when I was still a kid. Nonetheless, being there at night and seeing the vastness and the absence of people in the usually over packed beach was wonderful.
Saturday night came, my brother drove me to Penrith, along with my uncle and little cousin. Penrith is extremely far from Sydney, probably around 52 kms. But still, all had to be done in order I see my super, super friend's, Ella, dance group compete! After missing her past dance group's competitions, it was about time I actually attend one of those gigs. I loved the segment where the guys danced to Teddy Geiger's "For You I Will", really awesome! Reminded me of when Ella and I would play it over and over in her car. So congrats to her group, they came in 3rd! We went to Spur's steakhouse afterwards, the food was terrible. Then we went over to NSW's first Krispy Kreme, I got a blueberry donut, now that was lovely. We laughed the night away with embarrassing stories, and one of us reacting loudly to a stranger who tripped by a chair as he passed by. It was a good night though. I got home by around 1.30am. And, I left my keys inside the apartment.
Sunday morning came, my only relatives here decided we have a barbeque brunch at Brays Bay. Though the public grill looked ghastly, after a few scrubbing and cleaning, we were cooking away chicken wings and sausages! It was good, good food. I was stuffed even 'til night time.
Now, I need to wallow in my macro tute problems which horrifyingly takes hours and hours to finish.
