Wow, I just saw Contact again and it was super garbagey. "You can't prove whether you were in that sphere for 18 hours or four seconds, omg!" ... you could have another person take a ride to confirm it, you don't just have to argue about it infinite. The rest of the movie was pretty poor, also.
I bet if you ask any Christian if they think there are aliens in heaven, they'll be like "nope," over 95% of the time. If a person already believes in heaven, I don't see the stretch in believing that aliens are there. w/e
