So I'm officially old and I listen to AM radio. I was listening to Ray Appleton on KMJ and he brought up an interesting point for people who vote absentee. John and I vote absentee. Now, what if the day before election day McCain died? Would people who voted for him early via absentee ballot be satisfied with Palin as president? What if a day before the election they found an eight-ball of coke in Obama's briefcase? Would his absentee voters be satisfied or would they want to take their votes back? It would be nice if election day was a national holiday. I would totally be willing to give up Columbus Day. Columbus was a nobody anyway. Leif Erickson was the first person to discover America. Columbus just brought diseases and tortured the Indians who were already here. How do you "discover" America if people already live here?
