I have a test tomorrow and a project due but HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FOCUS ON ANYTHING AFTER THAT EPISODE
AKJGD:PAUORJSGFK:JAGFK:JAHFLKAFKJHALKHKAKLJDHALKJDHKLAJHFKLAJHFKL
OH MY GOD
BENNET, CLAIRE, AND PETER
All the permutations of interaction between these three was absolutely adorable. LIKE PETER AND THE SHOULDER PAT? Why did I love it so. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ And Claire and Bennet are back to being amazing for like three episodes before I HATE YOU DADDY YOU DON'T REALLY LOVE MEEEEE happens but hopefully not T_T. Unless Bennet is like "NO GIRLFRIENDS EITHER" lol.
HIRO & THE YAMAGATO GANG
Started off kinda dumb, but then it got funny and then it got REALLY SAD. HOW COME ALL THE HIRO SCENES ARE ALWAYS SO SAD. ;;
TRACY
Okay I appreciate what you're trying to do for yourself, so that's cool, and... JESUS CHRIST THAT GUY WAS SLEAZIER THAN NATHAN.
Speaking of which. SPEAKING OF WHICH.
NATHAN(????)
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Okay, like, I don't understand how other Nathan fans can be disliking this so much, let alone NOT completely creaming their pants. AND THIS IS FROM THE S3-HATER. USE YOUR IMAGINATION AND SEE THE POTENTIAL. BECAUSE I CERTAINLY AM. OKAY. GODS. WHERE DO I START.
HOW ABOUT KID NATHAN WITH THE AIRPLANE. I LIKE. I JUST. I CAN'T. WANTED TO BE A FIGHTER PILOT. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;; OMGGGGG ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
And then going to see Peter and OH GOD THE I DON'T CARE IF THAT WAS NATHAN OR NOT BECAUSE HIM USING TELEKINESIS AT WILL. THAT WAS LIKE. THE HOTTEST THING I'D EVER SEEN. BUT YES OMG. Of course, when Peter doesn't return his calls he DECIDES TO GO AND SEE HIM IN PERSON D'AAAAAWWWW. And tell him/show him WEIRD POWERS AHHHHH OH GOD. THAT HITS ME IN SO MANY GOOD PLACES. And also tell him all this stuff and... just... yeah. I do think it was out of character and plot-devicey for Peter to barely react at all to Nathan saying he was getting a bunch of powers, especially when he showed him telekinesis, which is very much Sylar's trademark ability, but EHHHHHH. THEY INTERACTED OVER THIS SUBJECT. THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.
And then oh my god teenage Nathan. osfihalskdfsaddsg VERY much Nathan and VERY well-casted; he had the right looks and pulled a couple of Adrian mannerisms in there (unless I'm seeing things), which made it very convincing AND VERY AMAZING. Also, again, Nathan using powers not flying, like with putting his hands on the SCENERY.... SOMEHOW V. SEXY. I just love that kind of stuff. Finding/using powers you weren't conscious of before and just dealing with it. Oh god jhdfkasjflas
AND THEN OF COURSE HE HITS A BAR WHEN HE REALIZES WHAT HAPPENED FFFFFF. I really liked that scene between him and Angela, and I SO CALLED HER COVERING IT UP WITH THE HAITIAN. Of course, it could just be her lying to explain away Sylar!Nathan's blank spots, but that seems like a pretty damn major thing to retcon into a character's memory, which this set of writers seems less keen on doing? I mean, I'm not saying Nathan is noble enough to have not helped in covering it up during his panic, so it wouldn't necessarily be an OOC retcon, but yeah, it seems like that's me overthinking things a bit. I also really liked him wincing as she kissed him sjahdkasjfha. O, PETRELLIS ♥
Telling the mom her daughter died - REALLY NOT A GOOD MOVE ON ANY LEVEL and probably better for your guilt issues than for the person you're talking to but THAT'S WHY WE LOVE YOU, NATHAN(????). I also really liked the scene of him in the car, and how he called homicide but then lost his nerve and hung up. SUCH A VERY NATHAN THING TO DO which makes me hope even more that he'll survive this thing SOMEHOW baw. Also, I was totally expecting them to play off the car mirrors and make him see a glimpse of Sylar? But that didn't happen, so... interesting.
AND THEN THE "KILLING." As everyone's said, the way they executed that scene with cross-cutting was very awesome, and I LOVE THAT THE GUY TOOK THE PIMP RING, and while that damn ring becoming an active part of the plot is amazing in and of itself, I also suspect that it'll play a really important role in terms of memory-reganing. Like, this next arc may just be about Sylar(????) searching for himself (lulz writers GIVE HIM MOAR TROLLING), but maybe when he does get the ring back, he'll turn back into Nathan since DUDE NATHAN WEARS THAT THING EVERY WAKING SECOND OF EVERY SINGLE DAY and it probably has like MOST OF HIS LIFETIME MEMORIES, and this theory is supported by the fact that in the Adrian-Milo shoot pictures from later episodes, Nathan does have the ring on again. IDK MAYBE I'M CRAZY but it seems like a definite possibility. This would basically mean that Nathan's soul resides in that ring, which is an incredible concept to me. ONE RING TO PIMP THEM ALL.
AND, of course, they end the episode on Sylar(????) dragging himself out of there IN THE RIDICULOUS CLOTHES. Of course.
But yeah, like... he really acted like Nathan in this episode, which I think was also heavily reinforced by the lack of any Sylar appearances until the very end. I AM SO FUCKING ANXIOUS TO KNOW what happens of this and what consciousness/memories/mentality this new Sylar(????) is working off of, and.... yeah. I'm keeping those Adrian-Milo set pictures from later down the line in my head to keep me from getting too scared. goddammit self IT'S JUST A SHOW kjshfakls
BEST. BIRTHDAY. PRESENT. EVER. No seriously at some points in there my heart was pounding embarrassingly fast due to excitement. kfjahskdfgasdg
And all right, I really fucking need to study now shiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
