Okay so I was cutting the lawn. I finished them both and went to go get the rake to make piles of grass to toss away. Well, I was in the garage and I heard a kitten meowing.
Cat's Story:
Mama cat had 5 kittens Friday when I left for Murphysburrow (spelling?). Well, mama cat put them in the corner of the garage in a shelf left from old cabinet to keep then safe.
My Story:
Well, I checked on the babies and saw only 4 outa 5. I desperately looked for the 5th one. I heard it meowing so I went towards its meow. It was wedge between the high box the shelf was on and the corner of the wall. I tried to move the box but it weighed like 200lbs and I could not get my hand in the small crack. I got really sad and feared for the kitten's life cuz its head was literally being crushed. So with my love and heart I ripped the box to pieces. Tearing away at it getting my fist into the crack and saving the cat....BUT there were saws and crap in the box that cut up my already injured hand. Bruised blood dripping upon hollowed hopeless ground as my hand made it to the kitten. I wrapped my fingers about it and when it was fully covered, I removed my hand like lightning hitting a tree. A drop of blood actually hit my cheek but I cared not. The pain was nonapparent to me for the only thing I cared about....was the life of the little kitten.
End Story:
Mama kitten tried to take them all back to same spot but I yelled NO! at her and she actually turned around, kitten in mouth, and put them back where I had them. For now they are safe... but the little kitten's skull looks crushed or kinda squished. I am taking it to the Vet later to give it a check up.
