In the first chapter it explains the importance of the Ring of Obedience and in the second chapter we find where the title comes from as well as learning a little more about the jewels. One of the main characters, a pleasure slave named Jared, is being sold in an auction however no one wants him because he killed his previous owner and is thus labeled a queen killer most likely to be sent to work in salt mines. The Gray-jeweled queen, the most powerful until the next series, comes to the auction and buys him and they're off to her territory. Jared has heard many stories about this queen and how no one survived being her slave but so far she seems to be the kindest queen i have heard of, as the reader and she seems to be more respectful and delightful than any other character this far. The title comes from the fact that the first thing she does upon purchasing Jared, is remove the Ring of Obedience and replace it with an invisible ring made from a power passed down in her family and she states that the reason she does this is because it is 10 times more powerful.
