muppets: I remember a few things about television while I was growing up. One of my favorite things was Muppet Babies. Later, as more shows became syndicated, the Muppet Show started airing again. I loved it, too. Jim Henson was responsible for some of the most influential people in my life. I can hardly do anything without thinking: What would Beaker do?
victory: I like to win.
zymosis: 1. fermentation.
2. an infectious or contagious disease.
Other than the definition, I was trying to think of things starting with the letter "z" so I could have an interest that started with every letter of the English Alphabet. This was the coolest "z."
- This is Farfarello's mouth, covered in blood, with part of The Lord's Prayer on the side. I like the juxtaposition of the prayer with the image of a character who questions God incessantly. And Farfarello has a pretty mouth. Before I changed my background, my journal was completely dedicated to Farfarello, and this is one of the icons left over from that.
- I honestly have no idea who's art this is. I found it while looking through a person's icon page, and liked it a lot, so now I have an icon for secret posts.
- This is Kaylee, from Firefly (Joss Whedon's other show). "Shiny" is the Firefly way of saying "Neat!" Kaylee is shiny, and pretty much represents everything good in life.

Elfquest: Good ol' WaRP. I fell in love with the Grand Quest sometime around fifth or sixth grade. It remains one of my favorite worlds, even though I've not read anything remotely recent. All in all, as much fun as riding a zwoot.
Oingo Boingo: I consider this to be one of the greatest bands in the universe- seventeen years together, and they never fell into souding like anything but themselves. There isn't a song by them I don't like, and that's saying something for eight studio albums, three best of's and one concert. Basically, Oingo Boingo is love.
unusual bandages: Adhesive bandage strips that have pictures on them, the stranger, the better. I have sushi bandages and a ton of pirate bandages. Archie McPhee is the main provider of my unusual bandages.
- This is Murdoc Niccals' butt. Shaking to the rythm of Feel Good Inc. Basically, Murdoc is disgusting and gross and is bizarrely attractive (for pen and ink).
- cute leopard cubs. And they see what you did there.
- Sasha Nein, psychonaut extraordinaire, in a rare moment of glee. Basically a "this is my happy face" icon. He's special that way. And I needed a *glee* icon.
