A few days ago, Bret's 12-year-old cousin, Tate, was skateboarding out of a driveway in a residential neighborhood as a speeding teenager was looking down at his radio. The driver didn't see Tate until his face was on the windshield. So not to leave anyone in suspense, I'll tell you now that Tate is alive! :) He suffered two broken legs, a concussion, a broken nose, and a shattered cheek bone. It's amazing to me that Tate 1) is alive and 2) didn't suffer any internal injuries. Now I have to ask how do people not see God? It's all a matter of the glass being half full or half empty. Some people will look at this situation and say, "Lucky? Not really! He has all those injuries!" I can't imagine how miserable these kinds of people make their lives. Tate is still here today by the grace of God. I'm not writing this to preach... I mean, it's optional that anyone read this. But I do pray that those who don't know Him will at least give Him a try b/c God has incredible plans for everyone. He won't let you down. As long as you see the glass as half full, you'll see all the blessings you have! So many people are scared to try because they think they would be a disgrace to Him or others or that they aren't the right kind of person. The thing is, God already knows you! You haven't hidden a secret life from him. He knows everything about you and he still loves you. That's the kind of love no one should pass up. But even if you do, he'll wait.
