Happy New Year!
Despite a completely bad day on Friday, I had fun with Kayla in Olympia. I got to say 'hi' to Devon and Sean even though Kayla and I were too late for ice skating. We went and watched the end of Return of the King and bits and pieces of the Apendices with Lawrence and his friend Stan. We tried to light fireworks in the driveway but it was too wet (yay Washington). Kayla and I got to have some good old girl talk in the car and fell asleep about 2. We also managed to find a Starbucks this morning which is good.
I got home in time to watch the end of the LSU vs. Iowa game and wow was that a good end of a game. Speaking of good games, the Rose Bowl today had to be one of the best games I've seen in a while, even though the Texas defense was NOT doing it's job quite up to par. It was fun to watch a football game with pretty much my whole family (most of which were Texas fans). I wished I hadn't left my Texas sweatshirt in my closet in Nama.
In other news....
I went bowling with Bobby, Jason and Jennifer (who I don't really know) and that was pretty awesome. We went to Burgerville afterwards and got milkshakes. I got new pajama pants at Hollister on Friday but they need to be shortened. And finally, boys will be boys but life goes on.
