I seriously felt so great on day 6. I had so much energy and my head felt so clear. It was hard for me to get to bed early enough for work the next morning.
Day 7:
More temptations with good food at work. I felt so great again, but I felt ready to eat again. On my way home from work I bought some orange juice and began drinking it. Then, I went out to vegan thai food for dinner. This upset my stomach a little even though I just had a little soup and a salad.
Day 8:
For breakfast it's orange juice and the lemonade mixture. Last night was rough on my stomach, so I'm taking it more slowly. Going to ease myself back up to regular food again. I am going to stick to mainly vegetables and some fruit for the weekend.
I broke the cleanse a couple days early because I wanted to be social this weekend and because it only really takes about 7 days for the toxins to be gone. To be honest, there weren't many toxins left in my body because I had just done the cleanse and because I don't drink, I don't eat meat, and I generally stay pretty healthy. I guarantee what was in there left within the first couple days when I was feeling really bad. The minimum is ten days just to ensure removal, but I decided I'd add up the 12 days I did in April with this time around and that averages out to be about ten days each time, haha.
I will do the cleanse again in a few months. I truly believe in the fast/cleanse/detox thing and I love learning more about health and health benefits for my body. And again, if anyone is interested in finding out more about this or wants to talk about detoxes or anything health related, I'm all for it. This stuff really excites me.
I look forward to the Master Cleanse round 3.
