hehe, definitely. yours is such a help too, when i finally have the time to watch more movies! i don't know that weird science was better, i just thought that pretty in pink was rather boring..and i hated that she ended up with james spader's character and not ducky, hehe. by the way, one tree hill did a tribute episode to john hughes last week, and a lot of the scenes and outfits were the same as in pretty in pink, sixteen candles, etc. it was rather great.

I know what you mean. It's always hard to fit in movie watching time! Sometimes I can't be bothered watching them, but I love it when I go through movie kicks and watch one a day, hehe. Lol, I agree the ending of Pretty In Pink was a bit of a cop out when all of sudden, some random girl is noticing Ducky, so it's "okay" that Andie ends up with Blane. I read on IMDB trivia that John Hughes himself wanted her to end up with Ducky too, but audience testing found that they preferred her to end up with Blane. For that reason, he made Some Kind Of Wonderful with the "geek" getting the girl and John Hughes got angry when Molly Ringwald turned the role of the girl down, hehe. I thought that was a little harsh. I mean, you wouldn't want to play the same character in every movie!

Haha, don't worry, I thought it was! We've all done it and I prefer it when people actually say something to me, rather than continue looking like an idiot. :p
i actually don't have the attention span for movies, lol. i know that makes me sound really dumb, haha, but i just have a really over-active mind so even if it's a really good film, i'll often have to stop it and finish it another day. i hate it though, because there are so many films i want to see which i know will be wonderful! yay for john hughes, it actually makes me feel better knowing that he wanted it that way.
me too, so definitely point out any mistakes in the future for me ;) also this is completely irrelevant but my friend thinks the plural of photo is photoes, and has a facebook album with that title. i don't have the heart to tell her it's wrong :p she's spelt it like that forever and i just assumed she would have to realise it eventually, hahaha. want to know the worst thing though? she was the top english student in my grade last year.

Haha, I know what you mean. Sometimes during a movie, I'll start thinking about all this random stuff, but unless it's a really intelligent movie that requires my concentration, I'm usually okay. :p The only time I had to continue watching a movie the next day was when I was watching Valentino: The Last Emperor. It was late at night, I was in bed with the movie and I was so, so tired. I was like, 'I'm just going to lay my head down for a bit' and when I woke up, all of a sudden, it was 2am. :p That was a riveting story, wasn't it? :p
