How quickly things happen. Just got off the phone with the admissions counselor at Columbia College in Chicago... pretty good indicators I'll be there this fall, studying Fine Art, like I should.
My Mom got the acceptance packet from The New School today and is sending it to me tomorrow, so I should get that by Friday or so. The same day Columbia will get my final transcripts. Ahhh, it's all happening so fast. Now two schools in world-class cities have accepted me, but the choice is clear: I prefer Chicago.
Tomorrow (July 4th) is going to be fun times all around. I'm off the next day and highly expect to puke.
Then Thursday, I'm doing Avalanche Lake and Friday doing Triple Divide, so expect lots of pics from Going-to-the-Sun Road and on top of a beautiful mountain with the continental divide running thru, respectively.
Montana is so beautiful, I am so happy, and life is moving right along. I couldn't have asked for a better summer, esp. with New York and Chicago as bookends. Now it's off to work. Hope it's busy like it was last nite. I pulled in over $200 bucks in just 6 hours. I can definitely get used to this. Esp. if I have to pay rent in September!
