I can't indulge in any extra curricular brain damaging activities tonight as I must take 2 sections of the CSET (California Subject Examination for Teachers) tomorrow at 1:30 PM. Which kind of sucks as I would rather get it out of the way in the morning. But, oh well. Not exactly sure if I'ma gonna pass this

Here's the explaination I got from Michael today. The Academy is the current school of music occupying popular music acceptance(ie. everything on KROQ). His conjecture is that as a new band of the 21st century who come from vast musical backgrounds and who have have the capacity to develop a new music beyond the tripe that is spewed onto our airwaves daily, we should do so and dispel with the status quo drivel.
