So I'm finally getting around to getting things out of boxes to sort out and put on my bookshelf or anywhere else. And I found an envelope, dated 4-4-03 with "5-7 years" written on the front of it. We did this in an english class, an exercise of where we thought we'd be in 5 to 7 years. It's now 2008, and so it's been five years. I'd completely forgotten that I'd ever written it. Here's what it says:
In 5 to 7 years I will probably be at UNE in Armidale, studying psychology, or in Sydney. I will probably live here on weekends and Armidale during the week. If I'm in Sydney I'll probably stay with [a friend of Mum's] and definately have a part time job.
Well I am studying psychology at UNE, along with sociology and writing. I'm not living there, because I can't afford it and I have work here. I don't know why I wanted to go to Sydney. At that time I think I was involved with a boy down there (who was Mum's friend's son). I obviously had no idea about anything to do with Mark, because I wasn't dating him yet. I obviously didn't know that I'd have a little brother as well! And I do have a part time job. So I guess I'm doing what I wanted then, which is good.
