So I've postponed today's blog until tomorrow. Right at the moment (10pm) it's raining cats and dogs, or at least really big fat rain drops, and is thundering and lightening and looking like it might actually flood if it keeps this up. The road looks more like a fully fledged river (funny, because the road is named Bridge St). The KFC carpark is looking pretty submerged, and there's a decent three quarter or a tyre sized puddle building up on the corner. My shoes that I left outside to dry back when it was hot and sunny at 3pm had transformed into little ponds. Every inch of grass and mud now looks like a swamp. I'm trying to convince Mark to play a board game with me, in true rainy day (night) tradition. We even have candles at the ready.
