My daughter said she needs warm hat but she needs her forehead to be opened to avoide makeup spreading but it still must be protected from snow, and she needs her ears and neck to be covered. So this peak reversible earflap hat suites her to a T.
This peak earflap reversible hat is made as a scarf and it has mattress seam on the back of the head. The scarf is 130cm long and 19cm wide.
WS and RS look the same.
Yarn: Firenze by Laines du Nord (75% wool, 20% alpaca, 5% nylon)
150g (3 balls, 345 meters, 378 yards).
Gauge: 16sts and 25 rows in 10cm of garter knitting with 7mm needles, washed in cold water and dry.
Needles: 7mm for the scarf, 5.0mm for ribbing and 3.5mm for the peak, crochet hook 3.5mm.
