The pullover has raglan construction and is made bottom up on the knitting machine. Front, back and sleeves are made separately. All parts are sewn together using mattress stitch, underarm sts are sewn by Kitchener stitch. Actually the pullover was planned to be for gentlemen but I added instructions how to make bust darts so the pullover may become for ladies as well.
Sizes S-M/L-XL/2XL-3XL/4XL/5XL
To fit bust up to 96/100/108/116/124cm
To fit bust up to 38”/39.5”/42.5”/45.5”/49”
Yarn: noname cotton yarn 400m/100g - 480/550/575/600/650g (1920/2200/2300/2400/2600m).
Machine: Silver Reed or Brother with two beds (for ribbing).
You need to know how to set up controls of your machine so that it knits from right to left on Knitter Carriage only, and from left to right on Ribber Carriage only; how to set up controls of both carriages so that needles in D position do not knit (for short rows).
Gauge: 36sts and 36 rows of 2x2 rib with 7/9 tension, washed, dry and slightly stretched.
You will need small circular needles for binding-off the collar and a tapestry needle for mattress stitch and Kitchener stitch.
