So, I'm back with my favorite authors/books week!  I will give you one full week (which is  hardly enough) of my favorite authors and books along with links to the authors websites (if one exists) and the link to Amazon, if you decide (as you rightly should) that you want to own any of these books.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

This book was just released on the 23 of May and I found out about it because Megan McCafferty (one of my favorite author's ever) totally pimped it on her (retro)blog.  And I though, "If Megan McCafferty loves this book so much, then I MUST check it out."  It does not disappoint.  It is a slim little book, but boy does it pack in a lot and it leaves you wanting to know more.  The story follows two teeneagers from Jersey, Nick and Norah, as they spend one action-packed night in Manhattan beginning with Nick asking Norah to be his girlfriend for five minutes.  And it just doesn't let up.  The dialogue is fast paced and witty and the characters seem so real.  The story is told in alternating his and hers chapters (Rachel writes for Norah and David writes for Nick), but it all flows together so beautifully.  I read this book in about a day, and it has quickly become one of my favorite books of all time.  It's just THAT good.
