I need a schedule
I really miss Livejournal. And a regular schedule of free time to waste on things I find fun and/or no exhausting.
I finally landed a job that seems to pay all the bills, will result in paid time off at some point in the near future, and as a bonus is physical so I'm getting back in shape and feeling good. On the downside my nails look like crap and my hands are so dry they crack in a few new places every week, but I am developing a new hand cream addiction to help with that. Last week I went shopping while obsessed about a particularly painful cuticle and bought like 4 new kinds of moisturizing options. And cotton gloves to sleep in!
In theory I'll have my days off to myself again as soon as I get the garage cleaned out today. There's only a tiny bit left to do so I can park in there this winter, and very little left in the house to go either out there or into storage. I'm hoping the family comes through on their plans to all pitch in a little with this last big, otherwise I'll be working on this all day. Or night, since my lazy ass is still just gettng started with my day. No one here seems to care when I spend the whole weekend in my pajamas so robe and slippers for garage cleaning it is!
I really need to get it done today though. We now have four cars and a one car garage and a one car driveway. Winter parking restrictions started last night so parking is insanely tight on our street right now. Ugh, yeah... motivating...
