I personally wish to document one of the greatest vacations I've had yet. These pictures only contain a fraction of the fun and freedom I felt while being there. I'm honestly quite upset to be back here in Miami.

At the airport...

COUNTRY

Caitlin was excited at the airport too.

Cornfields and solitude and bliss.

A lot of cow asses.

Donkeys :o).

They owned 28 horses.

Caitlin's siblings!

We had a bonfire, sang lithuanian songs, and drank redneck beer.

Stephanie.

Caitlin's sister...acting like a hick.

Caitlin rejected my love.

WE PLAYED DDR FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!

Lauren played the harmonica.

Justin was on guitar.

I was in the kitchen eating. Like always.

THE SUBURBS OF DUPAGE COUNTY/DOWNTOWN CHICAGO

We visited the art museum. I was really impressed with photographer Edmund Teske's work. His superimposed pictures were aesthetically wonderful and simultaneously profound in meaning. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures.

We sneaked apicture of this 13th century crucifix. We liked the penis on his stomach.

These were hot asians in Millenium Park.

...

The famous jelly bean was being shaved because it weighed too much and was pushing down the concrete it was placed on.

Downtown Chicago.

Caitlin and me by the river.

This was Christian. A random Mexican we met who transfered to Chicago from UF. He bought us a 12 pack, kind fellow, and our first day in Chicago turned out to be incredibly memorable...and intoxicated.

Drunk, we ran 30 blocks in the rain from Union Station to Navy Pier. My shoe broke on the way.

This is Jess, one of the twins we were staying with. She is hot and funny as fuck.

This is Jess in her room.

This is her twin Alexa. She is hot and cool.

This is Jess walking to the L-train.

This is me and Jess in one of many thrift stores we visited.

Alexa and Caitlin walking too slow.

Ducks in suburbia.

Caitlin and I went to a beautiful park and smoked pot there and read for 5 hours. Tranquility.

This is a high Caitlin, contemplating Darwinism as she looked at two trees, one weak as it was being pushed over at an angle by a bigger tree. She concluded that Darwin was a stoner.

We took a tour of the University of Chicago. We got lost at first but it was fun and I'm definitely applying.

Grafiti in Hyde Park.

Back in the suburbs, Caitlin and I dropped acid at the Waterfall Glenn Wildlife Reservation. It was absolutely beautiful.

This is one of my favorite pictures.

There was a drought, and all the fishies who tried to swim with the current died.

I was tripping nicely and could not have been more ecstatic surrounded by such luscious green scenery.

Jess in her grandma Florida pants. Blair Witch?

This was at Matt (Alexa's boyfriend's) apartment. On the right is a dummy named Carl. Carl was freakishly real. On the left is Natalia.

This is Matt.

Alexa was sad that I was leaving the next day.

This is Ronnie, probably the funniest person I've ever met.

The most common phrase we used the whole trip was "Buzzkill." We made a t-shirt. That's a decapitated dinosaur.

This is John and Jason.

This is me, wondering why Jason and John are so fascinated by the carpet.

This is Scott, Jess and Giana. Scott was hott.

This is Steve, inebriated.

Bands I was introduced to and loved:
Blonde Redheads
The Sounds
Aphex Twin

I was really depressed flying back to Miami (after two delayed flights and a two and a half hour lay over in Georgia). Spending an amazing night with Luis-Miguel last night however made up for the unhappy return. I think I even have the butterflies.
