Another one of the ducklings is back - his majesty Chris. I let it slip my mind just how much I enjoy his company and sense of humor. We went to Joann Fabric today, where Tati, Chris and Pat got applications and I got thread. "college places these heavy weights on my chest which I attempt to ignore. I'm not anxious about getting to college quickly, finding a good job and settling down. I'm really at a point in my life where I'd like to go out and observe the world alone. Study, experience, and learn about other people and places without the aide of a text book. Discover truths independently and revel in my youth. Like Kasenow once wrote to me, "Growing up is overrated, growing inward..." It's strange, sometimes I feel like I'm on a distant island when it comes to education. Call me young and ignorant, call me too eager. Shake your head and scoff. Roll your eyes.
