i have been busy of late socialising and working and other such things, so i apologise for the lack of updates. thank you michael, for pointing out that mass romantic was indeed released in 2000. my wmpy claimed it was 2002, but i discovered that was the remastered one or whatever. so, for those of you taking notes, mass romantic belongs at slot number 2, unfortunately kicking soul decision out of the top 10.
camp started out fucking terrible but now it's kind of ok. some parts of it are, at least.
anyways, on to the only thing you people care about.
TOP 10 ALBUMS OF 1994:
10. live - throwing copper
9. manic street preachers - the holy bible
8. portishead - dummy
7. stone temple pilots - 12 gracious melodies (purple)
6. pavement - crooked crooked rain rain
5. weezer - s/t (blue)
4. blur - parklife
3. jeff buckley - grace
2. shudder to think - pony express record
1. soundgarden - superunknown
honourable mentions: alice in chains - jar of flies ep (though why it's classified an ep makes no sense to me)
veruca salt - american thighs (girl bands are shitty but this album is great)
gravediggaz - niggamortis (i've never heard any of their stuff but goddamn! what a title!)
and yes, i realise i should probably listen to monster, dookie, mellow gold and there's nothing wrong with love a little more, but whatever.
oh yeah, fuck you guided by feces.
sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band may very well be the beatles' best album. it's unbelievably amazing, with the exception of "within you without you", of course. george may have been the best-looking of the four but he sure could write a shitty song!
ok, goodnight.
