Public Humiliation is ALWAYS fun

Tonight was fun :)

Nate and I went to the Mug Shots Coffeehouse series at Wakehurst. Randi Driscoll performed. She was AMAZING. Very funny. She reminded me of a combination of Liz and I, with Liz's vocal talents.

But the best part of it all?

Getting serenaded to by her. Yup. During one of the last songs I got up to pee and apparently as I left she asked my name, and Nate (sweetheart that he is) told her. So I come back, the song's starting and it's a cute song about loving a person who get's under your skin and the more impossible they are the more you love them, and towards the end it slows down and Randi is like "bear with me...this is the part I tend to forget, haven't done this song in awhile..." and then breaks into an improv song involving me and my trek to the bathroom and asking if I checked the showers in the creepy bathroom for ghosts. Oh yes. I blushed SO much.

Nate so owes me :)

And just when I thought it was over...at the end of the last song she was doing a thanks to Salve Regina and CAB and everything and of course me.

oy

But yea she's awesome. I really liked her music. She's really funny too! Everyone should go buy her CD or something.

Ok I'm done. Floor meeting time and CAKE. Yay for RAs who bake.
