Planning A House Warming Party...
Making The House A Home Was Easy...
...Making it presentable has been entirely another!
~So as we've spent months making the house look a feel like a home it's about time we have our House-Warming Party! I've pretty much worked out the logistics of it, with food and everything...
But Now The Questions Is... WHEN? We were thinking end of February or March? I'm thinking March personally. Hopefully by March we'll be past the SNOW that has been a little bit overboard this year! ...Not that I mind snow, I actually love the way the world looks when it snows, and I don't mind being snowed in either! It just tends to mess with plans is all... A lot of friends are out of state too! That could get yucky!
...Also, we might have to do a "Family" in the afternoon, "Friend's" at night sort of thing. I'm not sure about that yet. We both have pretty big family/friend's groups. Our house is a nice size, but it could be a disaster if there are WAY TOO MANY People in it all at once! (*Laughs*)
I've never had a house-warming, and I know Michael has never actually had one in a "House" so it very exciting! And it's more than our house, it's our "Home" and will be so for the next 25-30 years if we don't decide to upgrade at some point after we have children. (*Cause Children Do Tend To Get Big! ~Laughs~*)
Anyways... As for food I'm thinking classic party dishes (*MeatBalls, Keilbasa, Carrots, Chips/Dips, Etc.*) as well as some of my group-sized food dishes such as my Spicy Pork Burgers! (*AND We Can Actually Use The Grill!*) And A LOT of Sweets! (*Some Of My Well-Known Cookie's!*)
