That was incredibly well-written. Wow. The creepy imagery in the beginning was fun, made me wonder what kind of Jareth we would be introduced to.

And I love Toby. Toby stories make me happy, especially when he inadvertently gets Jareth and Sarah together.

Now, Sarah and Jareth. Oh, your Jareth is smoldering. Perfect. I love that Sarah is feisty. And then the UST. Good grief, THE UST. So smexy!! My favorite moment, I think, had to be this one:

Excellent," he said, walking toward her. Just as he reached her side, he paused. "In case it wasn't clear, I intend to win and I play for keeps." He leaned in closer, his breath fanning over her ear. "And, Sarah...call me Jareth, hmm?" His shoulder brushed hers as he passed, two fingers slipping beneath the band of her mitten. She sucked in a breath as they stroked lightly up the inside of her wrist. Her own fingers curled at the feel of his skin against hers, her lashes drifting downwards.

I love how you handle the sexy-as-hellness of their interactions without it being over-the-top (or banging me over the head with it.) Absolutely perfect. I can't wait to find out who you are, mystery author. I want to know if I've read your other stuff, and if I haven't, I know what's going to the top of my ficlist!!
