Wow. I loved that. An inspired response to a fantastic prompt!

I loved this interpretation of how she got the book. I have to wonder if that was Jareth in disguise, like his little disguise in the tunnels. And the owl was deliciously creepy. And I love the setting - fairs are such interesting places.

It was dark, but in that romantic sort of way. Like a ghost story. And the last line gave me chills. So good!

It's very powerful as the only entry in the journal, but damn if I don't want more! ;) Really well-done and well-written. Loved it!

Thankyou. I agree, it was a great prompt which could have lead in all different directions.

Ooh, kind of creepy and dark, yet not. I love how she courts his attention, almost teasingly.

It's a game she's willing to play - but is it her game or his?

Very nicely done!

This is almost whimsical right up until the last paragraph... and then I re-read the author's note and the whole story took on a far more chilling note.

I suppose it could be the only entry because Jareth whisks Sarah away for romance and lots of dancing & pretty dresses. But somehow, I doubt it.

Very atmospheric. Well done!

Yes I would doubt that too (in my rather morbid mind lol), but you never know ;)
