This is heaven?

OMG OMG OMG OMG !

*flails*

Dark Side of the Moon sure blew my socks off. Opening with the Winchesters getting blown off is truly inspired. I love how effortlessly menacing Jensen can be when he invited Roy to shoot him; with the addendum that he's gonna be pissed when he came back. I do hope we get to see that. It just brought to mind his work in season one Dark Angel; penitent in one moment, psychopath killer in the next heartbeat. Wonderful. It is now canon that Dean does know other contemporary hunter (well enough to recognise them under ski masks) and that

The next scene just made me wonder: how cold is July in _____? Cos you could see Jensen's breath in the car. The use of Dylan's Knocking on Heaven's Door is predictable but it's a good trope to give viewers an idea of where Dean is.

Dean: I'm dead.

Cas: Condolences.

BWAHAHAHA. Love it that Cas has begun to develop a kind of humour and sarcasm; must be all the exposure to Dean. So cute!

Sam: How are *we* in heaven?

Dean: Clean living I guess.

I shoulda realised that all this awesome humour prefacing the episode is a definite clue that there will be a world of hurt later on.

Oh, boys ...

What with Dean wearing a PedoBear t-shirt and Sam wearing Dean's maroon shirt, so many cuteness, so much portention for the gloom and doom ahead.

*shivers*

Now we know the origin of Dean's undying love affair with pie.

"Buenos dias, bitches!" Mucha lucha!Ash FTW!!

"If it makes you feel any better, we got Ash killed too."

"I'm cool with it!"

- Followed by getting laid a real hot one by one no-longer blind Pamela. *fans self*

And then the anvil hits.

Zachariah: Lucifer may be strong, but I am ... petty.

The two-three left right punches kept coming and coming, more relentless than a heavy monsoon downpour. We get to see John being a dick (never said he was perfect though he did what he thought was his best for his boys), we get to see Dean being filleted emotionally by the spectre of his mother (collective cries of pain the world over from mortally wounded fangirls), and it was finally capped by the revelations of Joshua.

I am beginning to get really scared now that there are 6 more episodes left to the season; where are they going with this?

*bites nail*

No real thinky thoughts actually; at nearly 2 a.m., brain is kinda sluggish. But the episode rocked so hard it's making waiting for next week so darn painful.
