I'm ... puzzled

Oh, Dean. Will you eat less bacon cheeseburgers now?

Doubt it.

*shakes head sadly*

Just watched SPN 5.07, The Curious Case of Dean Winchester. It wasn't as shit and giggles an episode as usual. Maybe cos I'm such a rabid Dean!girl that it kinda hard for me to see a 73 year old man play him. I mean, the dude lost 25 years. I mean, do the maths. That makes for 30 + 25 = 55. Why can't they get folks like DW Moffatt, Michael Dudikoff (hey, he got Dean's cockiness and stance down well. Besides, I got a soft spot for him from all the Ninja movies he did. Shut up.), or even Scott Bakula or Corbin Bernsen? I mean, sheesh.

But at least Chad Everett was fun and did a personable job playing geriatric!Dean. He had fun and it showed. Prolly helped give Jensen a well-deserved week off or something. Oh well.

I found it interesting that the guy playing Patrick, Hal Ozsan, was born in the Turkish Republic of Cyprus. The chips Patrick used had the crescent moon and star of the Turkish flag. Prolly just a coincidence, but still. Looks just like the chips, no? (sorry, can't get the screencap).

I felt very much for Bobby's dealing with his changed circumstances. It's so easy for the other people to tell you to buck up and don't let it get you down, but like the Depeche Mode song goes, ...try walking in my shoes. You'll falter in my footstep... (pun not intended). The anger, bitterness and hopelessness is characteristic of people in that situation. Aw, Bobby ...*sniffles* *hugs Bobby*.

Losing heart can be a terrible thing.

Sam is looking prettier every episode. They finally gave him good hair that doesn't look limp, uber floppy or just plain lame. Now they fit his features, flatters the shape of his skull and kinda softens (yeah, many men hate this word in relation to them) the Cro-Magnon shelf that is his brow. And he looks like a man, not a boy. Bravo, SPN hair stylist!

No more thinky thoughts at 4 am. May be some other time. But still, a new episode is still a new episode to enjoy the Winchesters.
