BLAH
so. Monday night somebody broke into my car and stole a couple things. nothing huge... they took the fm transmitter for my ipod. i guess they thought the ipod was in there. no luck fuckers!!! i'm not that stupid. i'm not sure how they got in because there was no broken glass. i suppose i could have forgotten to lock the door....but my door won't let me lock it from the inside unless i pull the handle while locking it. That means every time i open the open the door i lock it automatically. it would take conscious effort to not lock it. In fact i almost always lock my door without thinking when pumping gas (so i also always take the keys out of the ignition). Regardless of the fact that they only took about sixty dollars worth of stuff...and left no damage, i'm still mad/creeped out. My apartment is by no means completely secluded, but you would probably want to drive there. This means it was most likely somebody that lives in the complex or MAYBE somebody from the complex down the road but, i'm thinking not. Somebody in My Building might have stolen my stuff. that makes me really uncomfortable.
things they did not steal: YES!
-my stereo.....my 1990 honda stock tape deck that doesn't play tapes (guess it wasn't worth the effort)
-my nice ice scarper. the kind with the brush on one end.
-my bright eyes cd that was in the glove box.
-they empty box, the bag of hangers or the tarp in my trunk...
i'm glad i had only one thing of value in my car! and dammit i want it back! i cannot listen to music now!
thing they did steal:
-the fm transmitter
-a handful of change
-my digital tire pressure gauge
-MY HOOD PINS! actually we found the bolts, just not the nuts...so i guess they didn't technically steal them. but that means they popped my hood....creepy creepy creepy creepy. my car still runs so i guess they didn't take anything. I WANT LOCKING HOOD PINS!!!!! what is it with taking my hood pins.... they cost like a dollars, maybe five.. are rusty and worthless. but really. they are a pain in the ass to replace. why do you want them??!?!??!????
Dante bought me rummikub to make me feel better. it was fun to play. finally a game we both like! (he won...)
