The Addams Family Musical?! WANT NOW (HERE IN CA, NOT ON BROADWAY).
Earlier I completed
012. Eat tomatoes without making a fuss about it.
But now I want to un-complete it, and change it to
012. Eat tomatoes and pickles without making a fuss about it.
...though I'm not in a hurry to try 'em anytime soon.
WEEK 28
Song of the Week (100): Bird & the Bee - What's In The Middle and Playing For Change - One World (Bob Marley). So I was going through my files, sorting through what bits I want to keep and what needed to be (trash)binned, and I came across the link for
Playing For Change.

The best part (to me) about the Song Around the World pieces is hearing the range of musical instruments.
5 THINGS THAT MADE THIS WEEK GREAT (086)
1. Two letters of note (095)!
Wil Wheaton to 8-year-old Teresa and
MAD Magazine's form rejection letters.
2.
sergey-larenkov has been mashing up WWII photos with photos of what those locations currently look like. Check the LJ for the photos. The results are sometimes eerie and/or inspiring.
3.
Jane Alden Stevens' photographs of growing apples in Japan. I love the "wands" used to manually pollinate apple blossoms, and the stenciling. Still haven't finished browsing through Fraction Magazine's archives.
4. Fall semester started, and I did not die - not even in math! Today was completely miserable, however, from my car battery suddenly dying to the 100-degree F weather (drank so. many. bottles of water) to the sunburn to the all-day headache... So I am giving self a pass on going to math tonight, because I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to horrible, hot days (probably I would go to class if it wasn't blazing hot). But hey, even math class is, for now, okay. I do not completely agree with the prof when he says it (math) is "Mickey Mouse," but I am sure that these early chapters will seem infinitely easier to the end-of-semester chapters.
