i launched twice today and both times the pilot gave me a thumbs up after we saluted eachother.
today was a good long work day =)
monday i take part of my pc test with the other trainees. so were studying like mad all weekend. atleast its my duty weekend so i cant go anywhere anyways.
i talked to chief lindberg today about striking for PH (photographers mate). i have to take the ASVAB again and get a really high score and route a chit to see if i even qualify to become a PH. and to take the ASVAB again that means i need to take college courses, cheif said. (which i mean to anyway so yahooie)
then i have to take the PH test and if i pass, then when i leave this base in december 2006 i go straight to A school in maryland for a year. after that who knows. i could be a second class by then maybe. i have a good chance id say that i would be able to pick my orders from there.
you get shit hot experience and college credits going PH. so this is the best way to go. even if i have to stay in for 5 years..and even if i dont end up at the same base as seth.
fuck. the truth hurts.
but i like it anyway! theres no other job for me. everything elts would be as waste of my time. and i love that A school is on the east coast closer to TN and NH. (mom lives in TN now)
if i get this rate ill be so prepared to finish college and then go to film school afterwards! EEK.
frightening, but cool. but ill see. first iv got to study my rootin tootin off and get approval to strike for it.
ive got one of those good tingly feelings that everything will work out though. EEY.
