Weekend Update...
Cookie is settling in nicely. We actually were able to keep both of them on the floor for most of the night last night (2 dogs and 2 newly weds in 1 queen bed is not good). There's been a little growling between the 2, but nothing terrible. As long as you pay attention to both of them they're fine. Cookie is really a sweetie. I was nervous to get a 2nd dog, but Ryan wanted her so much I couldn't refuse, and now I'm glad we have her. Yesterday we had Ryan's grandparents, parents, brothers and their g/f's over for a bbq. I was a little worried because Friday night I discovered I had a nasty sinus infection and felt terrible on Saturday, but luckily work let me go early so I could head to urgent care for some drugs. So, by yesterday I was feeling better and we hauled ass to get the house clean. It was a good time with minimal craziness (that tends to come with having family over). I'm just sad I couldn't hang out with Kim and Suz on Friday. Can we try for this Friday? Now I'm procrastinating on the massive amounts of binders and books I have to go through before tomorrow, and didn't get done earlier because I got sick. I'm teaching a lesson on the geography of spanish speaking countries on thursday or friday. I'm nervous, but excited. I figure the best way to get over my anxiety is to get my first lesson over with.
