think of how lucky you are...
I think all of us who were fortunate enough to not have our homes destroyed and lose everything from this terrible flooding should be making some sort of donation of money or time to our local chapter of the Red Cross to help these people in need. Think about where the hardest hit areas are and how close you live to them. That could have been your home under 10 feet of water. That could be your favorite belongings ruined with mud. Someone in your family could have been hurt or killed. This disaster has hit too close to home. A little more rain and we would have been affected as well, worse than low water pressure or no electricity. I think we should all take a moment to realize just how lucky we are, and thank whoever it is you want to thank that your family is okay. Here is the link to the Red Cross site for Southwestern PA.
