Please assume that I am not reading your journal and comment somewhere to tell me if you do anything fabulous? Thanks. :) This is also the reason I haven't really been ( Read more... )

We-ell, sort of, but actually what most people- I don't recall if you said it but I know Hayley did- seem to be having trouble with is the "teuse"- it kind of rhymes with "hers", only, um, more french? :P

If you ever need a place to crash in Dannevirke
a) I'm sorry and
b) you're most welcome to stay with us :)
*snicker* now, now, you live there, you can't be snarky about it any more...

Totally, actually ;) La, as in do re mi; Belle, kind of like bell but nsort of... frenchy on the end; men to rhyme with bonbon; and teuse rhymes, sort of, with hers. Sort of. Teuse is the one everyone seems to be having trouble with, you're not the only one saying "toose" :P

Oh, and oops: la belle menteuse meaning beautiful liar (the "the" is there, but it's not always used in french. mens is mind or brain, I think, but menteur/euse (masc/fem) is liar.

Fabulousness? Well, it's been confirmed that I am indeed going to college to get more knowledge, instead of Mars next year. Other than that, nothing fabulous.

Your card hasn't arrived as of yet (and I've been accosting the mailman for a week). Which mans that if I send yours now (as I've been being dillatory in my card making), it'll probably get there about....february, probably. whoops.

Is your ID in french? In that case, I have absolutey no idea how to say it and have probably been butchering it all along. I've been thinking it more as phonetic english. Then again, I took spanish.

:) Well, hopefully you'll enjoy it- although admittedly it's not as cool as Mars. :P

*sob* Oh, NZ Post, why must you hate me so? XD hey, February cards are fab. :P And it'd probably be January anyway, because I sent mine a verrrrrrry slooooow way (although they did have, like, an arrive-in-time-for-Xmas-world-wide guarantee)

hahah well spanish would probably be closer than English... this is kind of how:

Yesterday's mail was awesome. Aside from some neat mailings from various assorted and asundry places, I GOT YOUR CARD. *dances* Further proof that saying summat about something will bring about its hapenning.
