more comprehensive report SS2
The start was really cool. Before the concert started, I was the one seated near the aisle and I noticed that there were stairs going up from the stage (left and right side) up to lower box and then another set of stairs on the wall of lower box going up to upper box A. I thought it was just so that the bouncers can travel from one section to the other. And then, there was this camera man and assistant who went up from lower box to upper box A and towards the entrance of upper box A. So when the concert started, I was focused on looking at the stage and guessing where each of them would pop-up. I noticed a couple who appeared to be going up via a platform from inside the stage (think of concert stages in other countries -- yung parang may butas sa gitna). Then I look at the big screen and they focus on someone that doesn't seem to be on-stage. I look to the back to my left (around 7pm of me) and there's Sungmin!! Then I look to the back to my right (around 5pm of me) and there's Kyuhyun!! Then I figure out that they're going to pass down our aisle to go down to the stage and that's when I start screaming!! I have a video of Sungmin here
It was really cool how they had like this rotating thing in the 2nd stage and there was also an elevating platform for 1 person. They also had these lifts from under the stage where they could appear.
My sister took mostly videos. And I also got a video of their introductions. At one point they sang f(x)'s Chu XD It was really funny. Don't Don was also a really cool performance. And Puff the Magic Dragon was so cute! yes Heechul was cute ♥ Too bad I didn't get Siwon's solo (Who Am I). He has the stained glass effect and the lighting too XD His introduction killed me: "I say WE LOVE YOU you say JESUS"
Ryeowook was really nice with the way he was waving to the fans. But he was also kinda sick like Heechul.
A lot of fans threw lots of gifts. Some of them they kept, some of them they threw back. Yesung got really drenched during the part where they had the water gun fight so he decided to throw his shirt to the fans. It was near us but towards the lower box.
Too bad I didn't understand some of the things they said. There were some scripted parts so they had subs on the projector but otherwise, I could only guess what they were saying XD I didn't know all of the songs but now the songs have become memorable because of the experience. I know all of them now! Hahaha.
One last thing, when we were leaving Araneta, my sister was driving and we just got out of the Gateway carpark. We were going around Araneta when the guard stopped us right in front of the gate of the venue. It turned out that Super Junior was leaving the venue right then!! I stuck my head out of the car and waved at them while my sister and cousins were taking a video. The four vans were so heavily tinted that I was only able to see Ryowook and the member behind him. When they left, we continued driving and realized that we didn't know how to get out of the Araneta complex and go south-bound. We were so star-struck that we didn't realize that SuJu was headed to Shangri-la... the same direction that we're headed!! We had already lost them when we realized it and my sister had to figure it out for herself. Short story shorter, we finally arrived home around midnight.
