Well, it's about time for a recap of my week.
I finished finals at noon on Monday. Those last 48 hours were the
most intense part this term. To celebrate, I watched
Star Trek: Insurrection with Stew (a.k.a. Sara Stewart). That movie has to be the second or third best Star Trek movie yet, behind
Wrath of Kahn and maybe
First Contact.
Anyway, after that I packed for six or seven hours. Loaded a
lot of stuff into my car. That evening, I ran into
mditto
and company, and all went to the Pub (tm). Rather fun time, first
time I've been there. I had bit of Guiness myself, nothing
fancy. We then watched
The Princess Bride. Wonderful movie, you should see it.
Tuesday I packed up my stuff and drove home. I
hung out with my brother and had some coffee that evening. And
celebrated my mother's birthday. That was great. We had
cheesecake! :-) Other than that, nothing to terrribly big
happened. Wednesday didn't see much action either.
Thursday I had an interview at St. Barbara's
Catholic Elementary School. I'm doing maintenance, but I'm also
helping with their summer school, tutoring in math. w00t! I
also took my red Buick on her last drive. That car has been there
for some of the most memorable parts of my life thus far. It was
sad to see her be sold. But I have a new car now. A 94
Buick. Tan. Wonderful car. Of course, Buicks just
rock. When I see people, be sure I introduce you to her.
Today I went golfing with my dad. More people
should golf. It's fun. Later I saw the latest
Harry Potter.
It is soooo different than the first two. Incredibly dark.
Definitely moving away from children movie and into much more serious
stuff. That's my week since I left. Next week I start
work. Don't expect me on AIM that much. So, I fully
encourage everyone to e-mail me. This is
labdog, signing off.
