I found an arrowhead on the beach a few days ago. It seemed to materialize out of nowhere, appearing on the sand next to my blanket. Astonishing. It must have been washed up during the heavy rains. It is beautiful, but I have no idea what it's made of. Could be jasper or some kind of mottled slate, perhaps. I need to get a good guide to look it up in. Most of them seem focused on western arrowheads, and are of no help whatsoever.

I also booked an autoharp gig at Sailfest New London in July. Jim is playing a set too, and it's in the ArtPark, so it should be fun. Hopefully I will find some time to actually get a setlist together in the next week so I can begin practicing. The last time I played 'harp in public was in 2005 at the Lucky Cat/ Dog's Blood Rising.

The other members of CURSE are planning to visit me in a few weeks to discuss finishing our new CD which has been on hold for a while, so I feel like I've suddenly got a musical life again.

Egads...the skies have opened up, and I've gotta go close the windows. Ciao.
