Hello all! :)

I study medical laboratory science at the Oslo University College (in my last year now, will be graduating this spring) and I also work in a microbiological lab in a hospital. There's nothing like poo! :P

Oh, there are some things that come close. Some of the stuff that comes out of the autoclave in our lab comes pretty close. The smell that comes from some of the cultures occasionally gets us chemists trying to work out who farted...seriously, it fools us sometimes. The counts are done right next to the airconditioning intake duct, so whenever they open those cultures, the smell gets to dissipate throughout the entire lab.

welcome! i'm a histo tech so i know all about poo smells as well (nothing like a colectomy for a small bowel obstruction!)
