it's been awhile.
a lot has gone down.
in the past month
i went to new york with rae,
met a cool guy named stead who swears will develop the united states of atlanta,
witnessed a house burn down,
played in decatur and midtown,
bought a cd,
saw some movies,
got stoned,
hoola hooped,
watched a spider spin/web/catch/kill/whatever two lightning bugs,
made an A-Z list of alternate names for titties,
have been watching my family fall apart, namely my dad,
and still haven't gotten my period.
sorry, t.m.i.
so road trip to new york-
incredible.
got a flat in d.c. on the way up from north carolina- turned out to be fun. sang with some turkish people on home video.
experiencing new york with complete freedom is highly recommended,
as overwhelming as it may be at times.
rae and i were constantly on the move. on our feet for at least 15 hours a day.
smoked pot in central park.
sat near a crazy guy on the bus who i thought may have had tourette's, but was definitely just psycho
and cursing at people loudly. hysterical and frightening at the same time.
visited brooklyn, late friday night. drank 40s and hung out with some really cool random guys.
gay pride was ridiculous amounts of fun-
the parade, the dyke march, and the fest.
i had the time of my life.
drove in the city our last day there... sooo much fun. totally reveled in using my horn incessantly, like every other driver in the city.
went to MOMA and the MET, as well as an art exhibit and St. John The Divine Cathedral.
all magnificent in their own right.
always too much to see.
we didn't necessarily do a lot ('cause we were poor),
but we just about covered every section of the city.
anywho.
things are great,
despite this lingering exhaustion and aggravation i've been feeling,
which i think may be a result of the fact that i still haven't gotten my period.
oh yeah, and i hate my job.
my boss sucks dirty monkey tits
and i really want to quit.
however, i can't afford to.
blast.
batman begins- amazing. fucking fabulous cast. great story. very well done.
definitely liked the old batmobile (from 1&2) a lot better. yet, still very satisfied.
charlie and the chocolate factory- started off good. then just sucked assssssss. so, so, so disappointed.
at least this leaves me forever devoted to the gene wilder version, which is a genius work of art.
what's up tim burton? corpse bride better not be a let down. looking forward to some of those shits.
latest awesome discovery: word sculptures. too frickin' cool.
summer has been good.
now it's winding down and i only have one month of my teenage life left
as of today.
this is saddening.
i've been forgetting how important it is to me
to live as if i'll always be young,
which has been making me far too serious lately.
anywho, i'm out.
