So Asuka's having a
sophomore mini-recital
on wednesday...

there are seven girls
and one guy in this band:

Asuka- vocals
Claire- cello, trombone
Marliese- electric and upright bass
Michelle- piano
Kristen- trumpet
Nicole- drums
myself- percussion
Johnny- guitar (not pictured)

after sorting through tons
of pictures that kristen's boyfriend
took of the seven ladies,
asuka photo-shopped
a poster for her concert

to say the least,
i'm really excited
to play with these girls...
they're hot,
they're talented,
and we all play well together.
all of them are from the jazz school
except for claire and i
(claire's a double major
in jazz trombone and classical cello performance).

during rehearsal on saturday,
nicole and i talked about
forming a band permanently.
kristen brought this up before...
and i'm completely for the idea.
i want to talk to them
after tomorrow's rehearsal.
we could do so much
with a horn and percussion section
and i think we'd have
a lot of appeal.

i'm not looking for stardom, people.
i just want to start playing gigs.
