Holy crap!
Ok so tonight I'm sitting in my living room watching reruns of the OC [think Season 1 - CLASSIC] and my mom is like I need to ask you a question. I'm thinking it's going to be some silly thing or maybe something serious? So then she comes out with it.
"Do you want to go get Sushi on Thursday night..."
God there has to be a catch.
"...with the Lagoses?"
This is the part of the conversation where I stare at her. The Lagoses??? Could we possibly be talking about the same people???
Ok now to explain what's going on.
So my mom is good friends with Mrs. Lagos who is the mother of a girl I went to middle school with. Lets just say we weren't the best of chums in Middle School. I can't distinctly remember if she ever actually did anything horrible to me or if she just intimidated the crap out of me but we were most certainly not in the same group of friends. And frankly from what I remember she was one of those people that did what it took to make the big dogs happy. I have no idea where she actually stood amongst the ranks [somewhere mid 6th grade I stopped caring]. But yeah so basically I'm going to dinner on Thursday night with a ghost from my past and granted we've probably all grown up a bit since then but still...isn't that a tad bit awkward? It should be interesting. That's about all I have to say.
I thought I would share. I'll keep you posted on how the dinner goes.
Also someone needs to update up in here because frankly I need some good reading. :)

Oh PS I currently have a new found obsession with horoscopes.
