SINCE i work at the state news and get to hear the first scoop on everything ! (haha, right).
apparently whooping cough is going around michigan ?
if so, that would definitely explainnn things. things including the incessant amount of coughing i've been doing, and all the mucus that seems to never end.
and if that is the case, i should have definitely listened to mike and not come to work, but i wasn't really listening to what the story about whooping cough was anyways so chances are i just have another terrible cold.
ANYWAYS, this weekend was really a bunch of nothing. besides olive garden ! so delicious. yuumm.
not many things beat going out dinner, really.
also, things have been feeling weird recently ?
mostly things at work.
not quite loving this new beat, though i guess it'll take time to get used to. and i guess east lansing wasn't exactly a beat to love, either.
ALSO, ALSOOO. city desk is just so lame this semester ! in comparison to last. and i feel like nobody is really in a positive mindset here anymoreeeee.
i felt like i was meshing really well with everybody and thoroughly enjoying being here last semester, and this semester i just can't wait to rush out, and i really feel like there are so few people to say anything tooo. maybe its cos over the summer, marilyn and joe were right there, and nico was always throwing in his remarks. and last semester, there was kelly, abby, and zack. and now, there's really just kelly, and she's always off editing somewhereeeeee.
AND ITS FRUSTRATING TO HAVE TO SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR 5 HOURS AFTER I'M DONE WRITING MY STORY.
soo tempted to quit.
the idea of spending a sunday night, relaxing at home with a warm drink and reading lecture slides and preparing for the upcoming week just sounds SO perfect right about now.
but, i guess i really should just try harder. and be more upbeat about being here. and move away from my desk. and not bring my mp3 player to work.
