"When you get this CALL ME! I'll tell you what's going on!" Reita snapped his phone shut and chucked it into the passenger's seat. He gripped the steering wheel tighter as the pictures of what had just happened raced through his head for what seemed like the hundredth time since he started this drive.  The tears welled up in his eyes, blurring his vision.  He took a deep breath as the first tear ran down his cheek, betraying his anger.  He pulled over along side the highway and slammed the car into park.  "How can he do something like this to me? After everything we've been through?"
He pounded his fists against the steering wheel as the tears rolled down his cheeks. Resting his head against the wheel he finally let his emotions take over and sobbed with heaving shoulders.  He thought about how his life had been like with the vocalist.  They had been together since before they had found Aoi.  They had made it through getting rid of Yune's personality lacking ass and getting Kai to join them.  Reita was always there when Ruki needed some one to lean on when the labels were getting to be too much and when their parents had cut both of them off because they didn't believe that being a musician was a good career choice. Ruki and Reita had clung to each other and realized that they were in love, that they needed each other more then anything else. More than food, more than air. More than Music!  Ruki and Uruha were always there for Reita when he felt like the rest of the world was against him. They were there when he felt like the world had turned its back on him. The two of them were his world and he felt like he couldn't live with out either of them.  Uruha was one of the only people that Reita trusted with every fiber of his being. Thinking about how they had betrayed him made Reita feel like his heart had shattered into a thousand pieces.

Throwing the car door open Reita got out and walked around to the front of his car.  He stopped and looked at his reflection in the windshield.  He watched as the tears streamed down his face and he felt the rage boiling up inside.  He slammed his fists into the hood of the car and screamed at the top of his lungs.  He didn't care who heard him.  He wanted the world to know, for once, how he really felt inside.  He wanted them to know how much they had hurt him.  He lay limp across his car sniffling a little.  He could barely hear a familiar noise. His phone was ringing.  Wiping his face with the back of his sleeve he scrambled to get his phone from inside the car.  Aoi's name appeared on the screen.

"Hello?" Reita practically barked into the phone.
"Uhm... Rei?  It's Aoi... I saw you had called a few times. Is everything ok?" Aoi seemed concerned.
"I left a few messages.  Didn't you listen to them?" Reita said through gritted teeth.
"No.  You had called so many times that I thought that it was important so I just called instead of listening to all the messages. What's up?"
Reita groaned a little as he shut the car door and started the car.  "We need to talk.  Can you come over to my place? I'm headed there now."
"Uhm..."  Aoi thought for a moment. "Sure.  I can be there in about 30 minutes.  Is everything alright Reita?"
"No it's not, but I'd rather talk to you face to face right now instead of over the phone.  I'll see you in 30 then." Reita didn't wait for a reply and hung up the phone.  He pulled back out into traffic almost taking out a few cars on the way and headed toward his house.

"Are you two FUCKING nuts!"  Kai's face was bright red with anger as he scolded the vocalist and guitarist.  Looking from Ruki's face to Uruha's Kai stood in the break room with his hands on his hips.
"Obviously you are!" Kai growled. "I don't care how you do it but you better fix it!  NOW!" With that Kai walked out of the room.
Ruki turned to Uruha "I need to talk to him."
"Good luck with that....  We were the only people he really trusted and we've fucked that up!  With everything that he has been through do you really think even for a second that he is going to listen to either one of us now?"  Uruha was talking to Ruki but he studied the floor in deep thought.
"I told you I didn't want to hurt him Uruha.  I just wish that I could have told him instead of him finding out like this!"  Ruki hid his face in his hands. "Maybe it would have been easier that way."
"It may have been a little more in your control that way Ruki but it wouldn't have been any easier for him and you know that! Just give him a few days to cool down and then try to call him."
"I need to talk to him now!  I need to tell him that it wasn't anything he did.  It's just that I'm not in love with him the way I used to be.  We have all changed.  I'm not the same person I was when we first got together."  Ruki looked Uruha in the eye as if he were trying to convince the guitarist instead of Reita or even himself.
"Maybe you should have talked to Rei about all this before you started fucking me!?"
"You know we didn't plan for all this to happen, Uruha. It just did!"
"That doesn't change that fact that it did happen and that Reita caught it happening!  Now someone that we promised to always support and love is feeling completely betrayed and lost.  As if life has once again turned its back on him.  We were a big part of what little he had left in this world. Why didn't you say something to him when you first started feeling that way Ruki?"  Uruha questioned the smaller man.
"Why didn't you break it off with Aoi a long time ago?" Ruki bit back. "Why did you keep leading him on? You know that he's totally in love with you and you've never looked at him as anything other then a good friend that will pound you into the mattress  anytime of day, any day of the week, with little to no effort on your part!"
"OH SHIT AOI!!!"  Eyes as big as saucers, Uruha jumped to his feet.  He pulled at his hair and paced around the room as he started shuffling through a pile of sheet music looking for his cell.
"Oh my God Uruha, what do you think he's going to do?"  Ruki let his mind wander to the thoughts of Aoi tearing apart his apartment in a fit of rage when he got a phone call from their bassist.  It could have been happening as they spoke for all he knew. "Do you think he knows yet?
"If he knew don't you think my phone would be ringing or worse yet Aoi would be here?!"  Uruha swallowed hard at the thought of what Aoi might do.  If the public and the fans thought that Aoi had an anger problem they had no idea how bad it really was behind closed doors.  The whole band knew how bad it really was.  Aoi once threw a wine bottle against the wall just because Uruha had knocked over and broken one of Aoi's favorite picture frames.
"Earth to Ruki!  Hey, care to help me look for that phone now?"  Uruha snapped his fingers in front of Ruki's face.
"Yeah...”  Ruki got up, shaking the thought of Aoi putting a chair through a window out of his mind.  Ruki had to admit that he was a little scared of Aoi when he was angry and had always managed to stay on that man's good side, until now.  A small shiver snuck up Ruki's spine thinking about Aoi's wrath being pointed directly at him as he started to help the blond look for his hidden phone.

Reita had barely gotten in his door when the buzzer rang announcing that Aoi was in the lobby waiting to be buzzed in.  Reita picked up the phone by the door and simply pushed the button that unlocked the door and hung the phone back up.  He opened the front door to his apartment and walked into the living room.  He slumped on the couch and waited for the brunette to make the trek up the 6 flights of stairs and into his apartment.
"Hello?"  Aoi poked his head inside Reita's apartment as he slowly pushed the door open.  He noticed Reita's coat, shoes and bass all piled on the floor right next to the door.  That wasn't like Reita.  He may have been a slob, but when it came to his bass he all but slept with the thing. Aoi stepped over the pile of belongings and walked into Reita's home. "Anybody home?" Aoi asked what seemed to be an empty apartment.
"I'm right here!" Reita's head popped up over the back of the couch making Aoi jump a little at the sudden movement.
"Shit man!  You scared the crap out of me!" Aoi walked around the couch and sat in the recliner facing it. He studied the slumping figure on the couch.  Seeing his tear streaked face his expression turned from amused to one of concerned. "Dude you look like shit.  What's going on?  Why did you leave like 20 messages on my phone?"
Reita looked Aoi up and down as if trying to decide where to start.  He took a deep breath and started to talk, but all that came out was a whimper as the tears welled up in his eyes again. Noticing that Reita was very upset Aoi moved to sit next to Reita on the couch.  Placing a hand on the back of Reita's neck he gave him a reassuring squeeze.
Taking another deep breath and looking at the ceiling now he tried again. "Ruki... Ruki's cheating on me!"  He finally managed to blurt out.
Aoi's face dropped. "Wow Reita I... I'm sorry!"
"I loved him!  I trusted him!  Do you know how hard it is for me to do that with anyone?  I thought he loved me!  I mean just before we left this morning he said it.  What did I do to make him want to be with HIM?!  Of all the people in the world why him?  And speaking of him how could he do that to me?"  Reita buried his face in his hands and started sobbing again.  Aoi pulled him to his chest and wrapped his arms around him.  Stroking his back, he tried to comfort his bassist as best he could.
"Reita I'm really sorry!  I know you're really upset.  This must be really hard for you.  How did you find out? What happened?"  Reita pulled away from Aoi and sat up on the couch.
"I walked in on them!  He was on his knees right there for anyone to see them.  They didn't seem to care who caught them!"  Reita looked at the back of his hands as he explained the pictures that had been floating through his head for the past hour now.
"That really sucks man! But why didn't you call Uruha to talk to?  We were never really that close.  I would have thought that Uruha, your bestest buddy in the whole wide world would be the one you would call for something like this! Why me?" Aoi reached up again to squeeze Reita's neck. An angry smirk crept on to Reita's face at Aoi's words.
"You're right!  I would have called him if it hadn't been Uruha that Ruki was on his knees for!" Reita locked eyes with Aoi as he said it.
It confused Reita how Aoi only blinked once when he told him that Uruha had been the one with Ruki that afternoon.  He wasn't sure if he expected Aoi to suddenly shoot through the ceiling like some kind of rocket fueled by rage or what, but that wasn't what was happening.  Aoi sat there completely motionless staring at the wall.  Reita wasn't even sure if Aoi was still breathing. What he did know was that Aoi's grip on his neck was getting tighter and tighter.  It was starting to get painful.  He never realized that Aoi was that strong.
"Aoi!  Let go!!"  Reita had to pry Aoi's fingers from around the back of his neck. "Aoi are you ok?" Reita questioned Aoi.  The guitarist stood from his place on the couch and very calmly walked to the front door of Reita's apartment. "Aoi?!  You're scaring me, man!  Are-You-O-K?"  Reita spoke very slowly and clearly as Aoi mechanically stepped over the pile of Reita's things again and started to head out into the hallway.  "AOI!"  Reita yelled as he grabbed his wrist and broke Aoi from his trance.
"I'm fine Rei.   I'll talk to you later.  I need to go."  Aoi spoke very calmly and clearly.  As if there was nothing wrong and everything wrong all at the same time. "I'll.... I'll talk to you later."  Aoi's eyes were glazed over as he slowly wiggled his wrist from Reita's grasp and stepped fully into the hall and walked to the stairway.  "I'll talk to you later." He repeated one last time before disappearing around the corner.  Reita was completely confused now.  He stepped back into his apartment and closed the door behind him.  He picked up his bass and sat on the couch.  Hoping that his only friend would be able to comfort him, he slowly plucked the strings. When his phone rang he thought for a moment about not answering because it was probably Ruki begging for forgiveness and he didn't want to hear that bastard's voice ever again. But when he looked at the caller ID it flashed Kai and he decided to answer it. He flipped it open and put it to his ear, but did not say anything.
"Uhm... Hello?  Rei?"  Kai questioned on the other end.
"Yeah what Kai?" Reita wasn't in the mood for a chat, but thought after the way he had ripped out of the parking lot earlier he could at least give their leader a sign that he was still alive.
    "Are you ok?"
"I don't want to talk, Kai!  Can you just leave me alone with my thoughts right now? Unless there's some emergency don't call me until I call you!" He was about to hang up when Kai continued.
"Ok I can understand that, but can you answer one question for me before you hang up?"
"WHAT?" Kai knew that if he had been in front of Reita, the bassist would have ripped his head off and he wasn't even the one that had hurt him so badly.
    "Uhm... ahhh..."
"Spit it out Kai! I don't want to be on the phone right now incase you didn't get the hint!"
"Uhm... Did you.... I mean do you know where Aoi is?  Did you talk to him?  I know you tried to call him and all..."  Kai trailed off.
"He just left here.  Last I know he was walking down my stairs in a slightly catatonic state after I told him who Ruki was cheating on me with." Reita flung his hands around in the direction of the front door absent mindedly.
"Really?" Kai asked meekly. "Shit!  This isn't good! He was perfectly calm?"
"REALLY!" Reita barked. "Now if you don't mind GOODBYE KAI!" Reita flipped his phone shut. Across town a befuddled Kai stood looking at his phone. "This isn't good."

Uruha stumbled through the door to his apartment not noticing it was unlocked. Why he let Ruki convince him to go out and try to drink their problems away he may never know.  What he did know was that Aoi hadn't called him.  Uruha had checked his phone every 10 minutes.  He had started this watch almost 12 hours ago.  Reita had to have gotten a hold of him by now and Aoi had to know how Reita had found them.  Yet there were no calls from the dark-haired man.  He had expected a call from him hours ago, screaming and cursing while Uruha just nodded and agreed when he needed to.  He had been planning it all afternoon.  But the call never came.
Uruha kicked off his shoes and stopped to listen for a moment.  He heard a noise that was very familiar and very peculiar at the same time.  It sounded like a little scream.  Like a long drawn out scream from something or some one very small and very far away.  Uruha shook his head and started to walk towards the kitchen.  When he got about halfway through the living room he heard the sound again. He stopped for and moment and listened again in the dark room. It was coming from this room somewhere.  Little screams.  As if something was in extreme pain, but still very small and very far away.  Uruha tilted his head and furrowed his brow listening very intently. It sent shivers down his spine.  He couldn't figure out why.  He just knew that it was all wrong and almost caused him physical pain.
"What the hell is that?" Uruha mused to himself as he continued into his kitchen, flipping the switch on the wall as he entered, made his way to the sink and poured a glass of water.  He walked back out into the living room and in the light coming from the kitchen he saw a slight flash of light and movement.  He jumped back a little.
"It was only a reflection off of the peg of your guitar stupid!  Don't be a pussy!" He scolded himself and walked into the bathroom.  He looked long and hard at himself in the bathroom mirror.  Suddenly his eyes widened with realization. "It was only the reflection off a peg, but my guitar wasn't on the couch and in some one's lap!"

Uruha hurried back out into the living room, switching on a light and looked right at Aoi.  Aoi slowly twisted the peg on his guitar causing the string to whine and scream in agony again.  Uruha just stood there. Frozen to the spot.
Aoi stopped the torture on the guitar and slowly lifted his eyes to appraise Uruha.
